How did you get into J-Fashion? My high school anime club friends introduced me to FRUiTS in the early 2000s. I was already into western alt fashion (goth, rave), and became really fascinated by the street snaps. I got into lolita from cartoon dolling php boards around the same time but I didn’t start wearing lolita til the early 20-teens.
About me: I’m a queer, neurodivergent, elder millennial artist who owns three cats (Sardine, Yuzu, Banana Sandwich) with a crippling case of “but what if I also did this”-itis. In my spare time I watch a lot of cartoons, and plan fun things to do with friends.
I work in animation by day, supervising the department that builds digital puppets for animators to use. I think the most fashion-y thing I’ve worked on is Ever After High.
I also run a lil brand you may have heard of called SPOOKYSPARKLEPARTY that focuses on plus sized clothes with creepy cute themes.
